Advanced Acute Care Practice
Description
This course consists of a 120-hour clinical rotation in an advanced acute care area. If you have at least one year of recent acute care nursing/ step-down or telemetry, you may apply for Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR). Must be an RN in good standing with CNO. For further information, please email: healthstudies.pt@centennialcollege.ca Registration deadline is a month prior to the beginning of the course. Clearance required for hospital placement through Paramed. Requires the following prerequisite(s): CECC-401 - Critical Care Concepts 1 CECC-402 - Critical Care Concepts 2 NUPD-408 - Health Assessment Skills for RN The prequisite(s) for this course are mandatory. You must meet this requirements before you will be able to register. Registered Nurses (RNs) only.
