Advanced Acute Care Practice

This course consists of a 120-hour clinical rotation in an advanced acute care area. If you have at least one year of recent acute care nursing/ step-down or telemetry, you may apply for Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR). Must be an RN in good standing with CNO. Clearance required for hospital placement through Paramed. Requires the following prerequisite(s): CECC-401 - Critical Care Concepts 1 CECC-402 - Critical Care Concepts 2 NUPD-408 - Health Assessment Skills for RN The prequisite(s) for this course are mandatory. You must meet this requirements before you will be able to register. Registered Nurses (RNs) only.
