Battery Electric Vehicle Maintenance
Description
This 40-hour course, to be offered online, is the first of a three-part training program. The next two parts will be offered in classroom and workshop settings.
This training program will be of interest to anyone who works with battery electric vehicles, be they electricians, millwrights, or heavy-duty mechanics. The course is also geared toward those experienced in working with original equipment manufacturers, and persons who have a basic understanding of mining operations and electrical fundamentals.
As this is a theoretical introductory course, there are no prerequisites. T

The course will allow clients to acquire basic knowledge on the fundamentals of battery electric vehicles in mining, to develop their capacity to understand the battery electric vehicles from various manufacturers, and to gain the skills needed to implement decision-making processes and maintain safety in the working environment.
