Contemporary Issues in Community Mental Health and Wellness
Description
This course explores mental health by examining current issues as they relate to wellbeing. Building on the social determinants of health framework, we examine the current context of service delivery in Canada taking into account the rapidly changing demographics in different communities and discussing contemporary issues facing service providers. Students will examine effective and promising practices in improving community mental health.
