Inclusive Theory & Practices
Description
In this course, students will examine the principles necessary to work effectively with children who have intellectual, communication, behavioural, physical, or multiple exceptionalities. Causes and risk factors of various exceptionalities will be discussed. Adaptation of the environment and programming issues will be explored, ensuring the inclusion of all children. Students will be introduced to the social responsibility required to remove barriers to ensure full participation for everyone.
