Income Security, Social Inclusion and Healthy Population
Description
Students will learn about the impact of social exclusion on all domains of health and the impact of income security across the lifespan. Students will examine these key determinants of health in detail, and explore current public health policies and programs to evaluate systemic responses. The course will prioritize an understanding of the history of colonization in Canada and the health implications for Indigenous, Black and racialized people.
