Indigenous Perspectives on Care
Description
In this course, students will examine Indigenous peoples’ health and well-being (Mino-Bimaadiziwin) from creation to today and into the future. Students will learn about Indigenous culture, spirituality and traditional ways of healing and wellness. Students will gain an understanding of determinants of Indigenous Peoples’ health and cultural safety when working with Indigenous clients, communities and/or service providers.
