Positive Behavioral Supports

In this course, students will study the bio-psycho-social model of behavioural intervention and develop their skills in the area of Positive Behaviour Supports. Students will focus on approaches that are respectful and foster self-determination and empowerment with inclusive environments. The approaches learned will be guided by ethical, competent, and accountable professional practice informed by current legislation for persons living life with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
