Recognize and Report Signs of Abuse or Neglect

This online competency-based Micro-credential is designed to introduce learners about the importance of recognizing and reporting various types of abuse in children, elders, and healthcare workers. You will explore the contributing factors that place vulnerable individuals at risk for abuse and the signs and symptoms that are sometimes evident when abuse is present. Lastly, you will learn about your role as a Personal Support Worker for recognizing and reporting abuse.
