Use Observation and Documentation Skills in Care

This hybrid competency-based Micro-credential is designed to introduce learners to information related to the communication process so that the Personal Support Worker (PSWs) may apply in the health care environment. Effective communication is one of the most important skills that a PSW can develop in order to provide safe individualized care to the clients he or she interacts with. In this Micro-credential, the theory of communication skills will be explored. Mosby's Canadian Textbook for the Support Worker chapter "Interpersonal Communication" will be referenced to throughout this Micro-credential.
